The latest employability data from the Higher Education Statistics Agency shows that almost 95 per cent of graduates from the University of Dundee are in employment or further study in the year following their graduation.
The figures released by HESA record graduate destinations for those who completed their studies in 2014. The figures for the University of Dundee have risen from 92.7 per cent to 94.8 per cent.
“This is very encouraging news, especially for all of our students who have just celebrated their graduation and can see that a degree from Dundee is a strong path to a career,” said Professor Karl Leydecker, Vice-Principal (Learning & Teaching) at the University of Dundee.
“We have a strong emphasis on employability and developing graduate skills right across our degree programmes and we are absolutely committed to reaching even higher figures. Our support for students does not stop at graduation as they can continue to access services such as our Careers Service after they graduate.”
