Act of Remembrance for the bereaved
Published On Thu 26 Nov 2015 by Roddy Isles
The University of Dundee’s Chaplaincy Centre will next month host a memorial service to allow the family and friends of those who have passed away in whatever circumstances to remember their loved ones.
The Chaplaincy, situated at Cross Row, Dundee, will hold the event at 7pm on Wednesday, 2nd December.
University Chaplain Rev Dr Fiona Douglas said, “Christmas is a time when family and friends gather together and when we especially miss loved ones who are no longer with us. This will be a short service of remembrance and support and will include music and the lighting of candles. This will be the first time we have held this service and we invite all staff, students, and members of the public to attend.”
Tea and coffee will be served afterwards. More information is available by contacting Jill Webster on 01382 384157 or at j.webster@dundee.ac.uk.
