Dundee biotechnology showcase

The breadth of expertise in the University's bioscience community will be showcased to around 200 international delegates at the upcoming Bio-Dundee conference.

Entitled 'from bio-technology to bio-business', the event will take place on 17 and 18 March, with the first of the two days showcasing Dundee’s cutting-edge position in the field of biotechnology.

The showcase will feature a number of Dundee’s key researchers and companies, who will present an overview of the work that has put the city’s life sciences firmly on the biotech map.

A panel of international speakers has been lined up for the conference, including honorary graduate and legendary entrepreneurial figure in the biotechnology industry Sheridan Snyder. The day's discussion and debate will focus on some of the key areas for the future of this sector.
