New staff development handbook

Members of the Staff Development Unit, Director Pam Milne, Lorraine Walsh Academic Development, Terry Vickers, Management Development and Morag Pollard, PA to the Directors, have recently launched a new Personal and Professional Development Handbook.

The Handbook brings together the full range of development opportunities including IT, academic and generic, within the design of a loose-leaf binder.

The new design allows a variety of inserts to be included in the binders and represents a saving in the cost of producing several programme brochures twice yearly.

As Lorraine Walsh, Director of Academic Development, explains, "The new Handbook is part of our response to staff requests to provide a 'one-stop-shop' for information on personal and professional development opportunities.

Colleagues can also find the information online within the 'My Dundee' resource and can keep up to date with the latest information and opportunities via the monthly, online newsletter post it!"
