Launch of 'Room to Rhyme'

Nobel Laureate and internationally renowned poet Seamus Heaney delivered a remarkable and memorable lecture in July 2003, as part of the graduation celebration.

The lecture was entitled 'Room to Rhyme' and was the only public lecture delivered by the poet in 2003.

Room to Rhyme has now been published in a limited edition hardback book, designed by DJCAD’s David Herbert and with specially commissioned artwork by Brigid Collins, also of DJCAD.

Copies of Room to Rhyme cost £20 and can be obtained by contacting a.j.constable@dundee.ac.uk.  The book will be officially launched on Friday 18 June at The Cooper Gallery, DJCAD at 6.30pm.

Proceeds will go towards the fundraising campaign for the University’s new Centre for Interdisciplinary Research (CIR).
