Cycle safety

In order to ensure the safety of cyclists, Tayside Police are launching a cycle awareness campaign, designed to encourage co-operation between all road users.

The campaign will coincide with national bike week between 10 and 20 June, and a series of posters will be displayed in prominent places throughout Tayside.

A competition to design the campaign poster was open to second year graphic design students at DJCAD, with Jill Menzies coming up with the winning design.

Course Tutor Gordon Robertson said, "I am delighted that Tayside Police were extremely impressed with the creative thinking demonstrated in the students' submissions".
