Cheque for Cancer Campaign centre

The University's breast cancer campaign centre recently received a donation of £19,760 from Debenhams Dundee, for vital research into breast cancer.

The money was raised in the store through sales of underwear, t-shirts, swimwear, perfume and magazines.

The breast cancer research team includes Professor Seth Schor, Dr Ana Schor, Professor Alastair Thompson and Dr Colin Purdie who are investigating the role of MSF in breast cancer. MSF is a molecule that helps tumours to form new blood vessels (angiogenesis).
