RSA winners

DJCAD students have scooped three prestigious awards at the Royal Scottish Academy Student Exhibition 2004.

Emma Pratt, Jane Mitchell and Simon Reekie - all fourth year students in the School of Fine Art - were awarded the RSA Sculpture Prize, RSA Landscape Award and Rendevous Gallery/Linda Nolan Award, respectively. The RSA Student Exhibition provides a platform for a new wave of artists to publicly display their work prior to embarking on careers.

With 53 works from DJCAD students, the show offered a glimpse of what to expect at the degree show later this year. And with three awards bagged, the DJCAD Degree Show, which will open at the end of May, promises to be one to look forward to.
