Helen Brewster, better known to her colleagues as Netta, is to be awarded an MBE for her services to the community.
Netta, who is a research nurse with the asthma and allergy team in Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics, is a founder of the popular charity card sales which are held regularly at Dundee Parish Church. For the last 40 years, Netta has been organizing the sales, which have raised a total of more than £400,000 for various charities.
She will hopefully be traveling to Buckingham Palace later this year to collect her MBE.
