One of the country’s leading psychologists is set to inspire the next wave of business leaders at a talk hosted at the University of Dundee.
Ian McLaren Wallace has been invited by the University’s Centre for Entrepreneurship to host its first Entrepreneurial Masterclass of 2019.
The founder of artificial intelligence platform Human, Mr McLaren Wallace is also known for his television work on shows such as This Morning.
He will provide insights into situational and self-awareness, as well as the challenges of running a start-up business when he speaks at the University’s Dalhousie Building from 1-2pm on Wednesday 30 January.
Brian McNicoll, Head of the Centre for Entrepreneurship, said, “Having himself participated on Elevator’s 12-week accelerator programme at our Centre, Ian is perfectly placed to inspire others to make their business ideas a reality.
“As an award-winning psychologist, he knows the importance of adopting the correct mind-set in the business world, and it will be fascinating to learn more about his latest venture, Human.
“Our sessions have attracted acclaimed speakers from a wide variety of backgrounds and this talk promises to provide yet more interesting insights that will help to inspire Dundee’s budding entrepreneurs.”
Entrepreneurial Masterclasses offer a glimpse into the careers of successful business founders. The talks are open to students, staff, and the general public and are followed by a Q&A session.
The Entrepreneurial Masterclass with Ian McLaren Wallace takes place at the University’s Dalhousie Building, Old Hawkhill, on Wednesday 30 January from 1-2pm. Tickets are free and places can be booked online.
