University partner for Editorial Intelligence `Names Not Numbers' conference

The University of Dundee – the UK’s top rated university for biological sciences - has joined with the leading knowledge networking firm Editorial Intelligence’s `Names Not Numbers’ conference as Life Sciences Partner for 2016-17.

Names Not Numbers (NNN) gathers together a community spanning national and international current affairs, publishing, media, politics, culture, science, technology and communications for agenda-setting gatherings, primarily in London and Oxford.

It is curated by the expert in modern networking Julia Hobsbawm OBE, Professor in Networking at Cass Business School and at UCS Suffolk, and founder of Editorial Intelligence and Names Not Numbers.

The partnership will see the University contribute to the series of NNN events over the coming year, including curation, guest editing and providing content and speakers.

“We are delighted to enter into partnership with Names Not Numbers, with a particular focus on our world renowned life sciences activity,” said Thomas Veit, Director of External Relations at the University of Dundee. “Working with NNN will enable us to reach different audiences and help set the agenda in some of the big issues facing science and society.”

“The University of Dundee has a prestigious reputation in Life Sciences and makes significant contributions that will enhance our debate, discussion and generation of ideas,” said Julia Hobsbawm.
