Under 18s go free at Dundee Botanic Garden.

The University of Dundee Botanic Garden will open its gates for free to under 18s this summer.

Every day between July and August, young people will be able to see the collection of conifers, broad-leaved trees, shrubs, tropical and temperate glasshouses, all for free.

Adults will also benefit from this offer every Saturday until August 27th.

Curator Alasdair Hood said, “The Botanic Garden is a treasure and one of the finest examples of a large-scale garden to be found in Scotland.

“We are looking forward to welcoming visitors to the Garden this summer. There’s lots going on and there is something for everyone.”

Set in 21 acres, the Garden has an outstanding range of plant life.

The garden is very popular with families and children of all ages. The paths are buggy-friendly, and there are baby changing facilities at the Visitor Centre.

The Dundee Botanic Garden is open Monday- Sunday from 10am-4pm.
