University of Dundee Law Alumni gathered in Edinburgh last month to celebrate 50 years of the University. BTO Solicitors kindly hosted the evening that saw over 20 alumni come together and talk all things Dundee. Prof. Colin Reid gave an update from The Law School and encouraged our alumni to continue their involvement with the school. An enjoyable evening was had by all and discussion have already begun about arranging a further event later in the year.

1967 -
Ordinances issued in 1897 made University College form part of St Andrews. and establish a Faculty of Medicine.
1897 -
The Deed formally creating University College Dundee was signed by founders Miss Mary Ann Baxter and her cousin Dr John Boyd Baxter.
