DJCAD Jewellery students have used their creative skills to raise funds for their trip to the New Designers event in July by raffling two unique pieces of jewellery.

The 13 4th years and one non-graduating student have each crafted their own individual piece for a charm bracelet. Two finished bracelets, each worth £300, will be presented to the winners of the raffle when they are announced on the opening night of the degree show, June 13th.

Funds raised will enable to students to travel south to the New Designers event held at the London Business Centre in early July. The event is an important one for graduating students from art colleges around the country since it gives them the opportunity to display their work in the hope that it will be noticed by potential employers.

Raffles tickets are now on sale priced £1 - contact DJCAD's Jewellery and Metalwork department.
