Best international animation

Sellout Pictures, led by Gili Dolev of the school of television and imaging at DJCAD, won a major award at the world-renowned Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival for the animation Promise Land.

The film, which looks at the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, made it to a shortlist of just 70 films out of 1,700 entries to the international film section, the most prestigious category in the festival. It was named best international animation.
