The Lord Provost and the Principal of the University of Dundee will host a reception for international students just arrived at the University to begin their studies on Saturday 13 September.
John Letford the Lord Provost and Sir Alan Langlands University Principal will personally welcome over 150 students who have come from China, Malaysia, Korea, Nigeria, India, USA, Canada and Singapore to study at the University of Dundee.
This is the first of many events throughout the year for international students. The University's Student Advisory Service has organised city and campus tours, information sessions on health and safety and the buddy scheme pairing international students with UK students and staff.
To give the students a taste of the stunning Scottish landscape, the Student Advisory Service will also accompany a group to Skye for a weekend during springtime and sightseeing trips to Edinburgh and Glamis Castle.
