Doctors and nurses from Ninewells Hospital will be swapping the wards for the catwalk next week when they take part in a charity fashion show to raise funds for The Institute of Cardiovascular Research.

Sister Ros Robb has rounded up staff members and their children to model the Debenham's winter collection, in aid of the University of Dundee Institute.

One lucky model will also be dressed in an outfit donated by TV favourite Lorraine Kelly, who is a TICR patron. The outfit will be auctioned during the fashion show, which takes place in the Bonar Hall on Thursday, September 26.

This Monday, September 23, all those taking part will assemble in the Bonar Hall for a dress rehearsal under Ros's direction. Gail Magson from local community dance group 2K will be putting the final touches to the choreography for the show.

Ros said, "Debenham's, K2 and McIntyre's hairdressers have all given this event great support and the part-time models have been fantastic. Monday is a chance for us to put the finishing touches to the show so that, as well as helping the TICR campaign, the audience will enjoy a great night out."

Scientist David Newton will be entertaining the crowd with a song too.
