Sir Alan Langlands named Public Service Leader of the Year

Sir Alan Langlands, Principal and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Dundee, has won the Scottish Leadership Foundation Public Service Sector Leader of the Year Award in the Scottish Business Insider Elite Awards.

Sir Alan was described by one nominator as "easily the most commercial and successful university principal in Scotland".

The awards are voted on by members of the Elite, who represent 400 leading figures in the private and public sectors in Scotland.
