The lucky winner of the TICR (Tayside Institute for Cardiovascular Research) raffle was today (Thursday 23 October) presented with her prize at The Gleneagles Hotel, Gleneagles.
Kirstin de Morgan of Ethie Castle near Arbroath has won flights from Dundee to London (donated by ScotAirways), overnight accommodation in a hotel, and a tour of the GMTV studios with TICR Patron and Queen of daytime television, Lorraine Kelly.
The prize package for two people also includes a chauffeur-driven car from London City airport to the television studios, and an evening meal at one of Jamie Oliver’s London restaurants (donated by Sainsbury’s Dundee).
Peter Lederer, managing director of The Gleneagles Hotel and Chairman of VisitScotland, drew the winning ticket. The raffle raised over £1400.
Robert McLaren, chair of the TICR campaign, said, "I’d like to thank everyone who bought a raffle ticket and contributed to this very worthwhile and exciting project."
