New Scotland: New Politics

How the Scottish Parliament works and its differences to Westminster will be the subject of a lecture by Lord James Douglas Hamilton MSP at the University of Dundee on Friday, Nov 1.

Lord Douglas Hamilton, Conservative spokesperson on Justice and Home Affairs, will be speaking in the Tower Building Conference Suite as part of the University Politics Department's series of lunchtime lectures, "New Scotland: New Politics". The series will also bring Sir David Steele, Presiding Officer of the Scottish Parliament, to Dundee on November 29.

Head of the Politics department, Dr Norrie MacQueen said, "The Politics lunchtime lecture series has been running for a number of years now and has always been very successful. We are delighted to welcome such high profile names to the University for this year's programme."

Entry to the 1pm lecture is free of charge and all are welcome.
