On Saturday 7th October Dundee University Students' Association is holding its annual Freshers' Fayre. The Fayre this year promises to be the biggest ever, with more than 100 companies, charities, organisations and societies represented. The Fayre will run from 12 noon until 4 pm in Dundee University Students' Association, Airlie Place, Dundee. This year attendance is expected to exceed 2500 students.
Iain Luke MP, Kate Maclean MSP, Alex Johnstone MSP, councillor Derek Scott and new local councillor Fraser MacPherson will be attending to answer questions from their new constituents.
As reported earlier this month, the day also marks the continuing association between DUSA and the East of Scotland Blood Transfusion Service.
Maurice Golden, Vice-President said:
"I think it is very positive that local MSPs and local councillors are attending DUSA's Freshers' Fayre, and are ready to listen to the large student population of Dundee.
"We are looking forward to a great day."
