Scottish night for international students

Around 150 students from across the globe will be introduced to a taste of Scotland tonight at a
traditional Scottish evening and ceilidh in the Bonar Hall organised by the University of Dundee's
Student Advisory Service.
The evening will take the form of a Burns night, where students will sample haggis for the first time and
highland dancers and a piper will provide the evening’s entertainment. The students will also have an
introduction to Scottish Country dancing and try out their new steps to the ceilidh band.
Countries represented include Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, USA, Canada,
China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Spain, Luxemburg, France, Cyprus, Bangladesh, Italy, Ghana, Angola, Malawi,
Turkey, Cyprus and Japan.
