Golfers donate to TICR

Golfers who took part in a fundraising golf tournament early this year will present a cheque to the
University of Dundee’s Institute of Cardiovascular Research (TICR) tomorrow. The golf event organised by
Bridge of Allan based, Executive Golf & Leisure raised £9,400 for the TICR campaign.
Graham Pook, managing director, Executive Golf and Leisure will join three other golfers, father and son
partnership Michael and Richard Hally and Jim Patrick, president of the Dundee Rotary Club to hand over
the cheque to TICR Chairman, Robert McLaren.
The TICR campaign is raising funds for a new Institute for Cardiovascular Research bringing together a
team of specialists in five medical disciplines to enable detection and intervention of heart-related
diseases at an earlier stage. The campaign has already raised £2.5m and is now in the final phase to
raise the target of £3.5m.
