Dr Audrey Duncan of the University of Dundee recently received a top award from the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES).
Audrey, Sports Science Officer in the Institute of Sport and Exercise at the University was awarded the Philip Read Memorial Award for the best presentation by a young investigator for her presentation entitled 'Motor Control of Eccentric Muscle Contraction in Landing'.
Audrey made her presentation at the BASES annual conference. Her prize includes £500 and a certificate.
Audrey has worked at the Institute of Sport and Exercise for three years. She took her first degree in physiology and sports science from Glasgow University and studied for her PhD in Birmingham./ENDS
