A group of fifty University of Dundee international students are setting off for the Isle of Skye on a
whistle-stop two day tour of Scotland and the 'misty isle' on Saturday 8 May.
The students, some with their families will have little time to sit back and relax as they try to take in
as much as possible in the 380 mile round trip. Setting off at 9.00am from the University's Belmont Halls of
Residence, there are a number of planned stops 'en route' before the coach arrives at Skye.
The group will stop at Glencoe to learn about the infamous 1692 'Massacre of Glencoe' before moving on to
Anaoch Mhor where some students will take the gondola 2,150 feet up the mountains for the spectacular views.
After crossing the Skye bridge and spending the night in Portree the group will then head to the north tip of the
Isle towards Duntulm Castle. Then returning to the main land the group will visit Lochness to search for
'Nessie' before heading back to Dundee for 9.30pm.
