Lorraine Kelly presents prizes
Photo opportunity: 8.30pm, Friday 21st May, Dean's Reception, Reception Room, Level 5, Matthew Building,
Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, Perth Road, Dundee
Lorraine Kelly, University of Dundee Rector will present prizes to outstanding students from the University's
Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design at the 2004 Dundee Degree Show. Students from all schools
will receive awards from the GMTV star this evening at the Dean's reception.
Lorraine will present the F & A Bradshaw Prize to Jewellery and Metal Design student, Danielle Gordon from
the School of Design. Danielle's outstanding silver and ribbon-entwined pieces including rings, bracelets
and necklaces could easily adorn the most fashion conscious wearer including Lorraine herself.
The Sandra McNeilance Memorial Prize will go to Simon Reekie of the School of Fine Art. Simon's large oil
paintings of members of his family, including his father with a protruding nose highlight in amazing detail
the characteristics of the skin.

The degree show opens to the public on Saturday 22 May and runs until Saturday 29 May.
