New University alumni group launch

Over 150 people who studied at the University of Dundee will attend the launch of the Dundee University Local
Alumni Club (DULA) launch on 25 May. The guests will have the chance to meet BBC radio and television
presenter, graduate and outgoing Rector of the University, Fred MacAulay who is attending the drinks
reception.
Established by a group of local graduates, DULA will offer graduates and those who studied at the University
for a year or more the opportunity to get back in touch with the University, meet old friends and
acquaintances and take part in a number of organised events. University Principal, Sir Alan Langlands and
Lord Provost of Dundee, John Letford will also be there to welcome previous students.
The doors open at 5.30pm for a 6.00pm start and previous students of all ages who live in the Dundee area

Alumni are people who have studied at an institution for a year or more. All graduates of the University
of Dundee are alumni.
