A group of Dundee University architecture students are hoping to hand in their drawing boards and drafting machines and take on the practical side of building this summer. The final year students are planning on working in Kenya, aiding local communities in various development projects.
In order to finance the cost of this venture, the group must raise £20,000, and they are well on their way to meeting this target, having so far raised £14,000. However, they must get the final portion of this money if they are to travel this summer.
Justin Kinsella, a member of the group, said:
"This will be a great opportunity to play a valuable role in helping develop local communities in Kenya. If anyone can in anyway contribute to the costs of this project, they would be helping not only ourselves but also the many Kenyans who will benefit from this work."
