MEP visits Dundee University
SNP Member of the European Parliament, Ian Hudghton will be addressing a class of third year
European Law students at Dundee University on Thursday 24 March at 2pm. Mr Hudghton, whose talk
will cover a range of topics including how EU laws are made, the European Constitution and the role
of national and regional legislatures in the EU, is attending the university at the behest of
course tutor Sue England.
Speaking in advance of his visit, Mr Hudghton said: "The students' are currently studying EU
legislation and I am delighted to have been asked to give them my thoughts on some of the key
issues affecting the EU today from an MEP's perspective. More importantly, I'm looking forward to
hearing the students' views on how they think the EU impacts on Scotland and what our country's
future role in Europe should be."
