Dundee University Musical Society Spring Concert
Photo opportunity at last rehearsal 7.00pm, Tuesday 29th March, Music Rooms,
5 Airlie Place, University of Dundee.
With no fewer than six performance dates already this session, the Chamber Choir, Choir and
Orchestras from Dundee University's Musical Society are now to play their last note for the
academic year. The programme will provide the tuneful and varied selection that has come to be
expected from the Society, including Beethoven's First Symphony and Karl Jenkins's Mass for Peace.
Patron of the Society Russell Reid said, "Everything that the students do is marked by an
enthusiasm and commitment that quite a few professional groups would envy, and among the various
ensembles are young people of a extraordinarily high musical calibre. Their concerts are never
less than thoroughly enjoyable, and often they are very much more than that. This promises to be a
splendid evening of music."
The concert is on 30 March at 7.30pm in Trinity Hall at High School of Dundee.
Tickets are £7 and £5 concessions and will be available at the door.
