The Sir John Fisher Foundation will make a donation of £100,000 to The Institute for Cardiovascular Research
(TICR) of the University of Dundee on Wednesday 31 March.
The donation will be used over a period of five years by Dr Faisel Khan to continue TICR's cardiovascular
research work.
TICR's work will play a key role in helping to reduce the number of deaths from heart disease, in Scotland
and throughout the world.
"This donation brings us even closer to reaching our £3.2 million target for a new Institute of
Cardiovascular Research. The support of The Sir John Foundation will help TICR to continue in its fight
against heart disease," explains TICR chairman, Robert McLaren.
