A Science TV company called Screenhouse Productions is looking for : dynamic postgraduates or researchers working on exciting projects at university, or in the industry.
Ruth Clarke, from Screenhouse Productions explains: "Screenhouse Productions, is a science television production company based in Leeds. We are currently producing a series of 6 x 15 minute programmes about young scientists and engineers. The series will be shown on BBC2 on the Open University Learning Zone with the aim of promoting science and engineering as a career."
"Each 15 minute programme will be a personal profile of a scientist to show what their life is like, and what science or engineering is like as a career. We are looking for dynamic post graduates or researchers at university, or in industry working on exciting projects. The filming will take place from now until June, our aim is to film at various stages to capture science as it happens, hopefully showing a build up to an end point."
"We are looking for women involved in science and engineering and wondered whether you could put us in touch with any potential contributors."
Unfortunately we are working to a tight deadline and need to find people very soon.
Contributors can be from any field of science or engineering
Please pass this message on to anyone who may be able to help, or contact me if you can suggest any other young scientists we could feature. If you have any other questions about our project please do not hesitate to get in touch.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Ruth Clarke, Researcher
