Photo opportunity 2pm, Tuesday 12 March, Wellcome Trust Biocentre, University of Dundee
A class of Primary Seven pupils from Blackness Primary School will visit the University of Dundee tomorrow to observe the work of the scientists who are working on cures for cancers.
The pupils, in a project on voluntary organisations, chose to study cancer research and how independent organisations like Cancer Research UK contribute to the scientific research.
Dr Julian Blow from the School of Life Sciences at the University will show the pupils round the Wellcome Trust Biocentre, letting them examine the microscopes which the scientists use to investigate cancer cells./ENDS
