Do you have a hidden talent for telling millions of people about your specialist subject? Are you full of ideas and passionate about sharing them? Can you instil a love of science in others - be it medicine or nuclear physics, engineering or biochemistry? We're looking for a science professional to present on BBC TELEVISION.
In collaboration with the flagship programme Tomorrow's World, the BBC is searching for scientists to present on television. The successful applicant could end up working on any the output from BBC Science, ranging from documentaries to outside broadcasts, and on subjects as diverse as palaeontology to cosmology.
We are looking for inspirational communicators who can impart knowledge in a gripping, charismatic way. We're just keen to hear from people who know their sciences.
Or perhaps someone you know is the person we are looking for. It doesn't matter if they haven't considered television work before - we want to hear about them!
Successful candidates will be auditioned across the country and the best will go forward to the second round, where their audition will be screened on Tomorrow's World. The audience will then get the chance to vote on the presenter of their choice.
For the most promising presenter, there will be the opportunity to present on BBC ONE prime time television.
