The University of Dundee is hosting the final of the Top of the Bench chemistry quiz for schools this evening at 6pm in the Carnegie building. Four local secondaries - Balwearie, Dundee High, Perth High and Auchmutie High have come through the rounds to reach the grand final where they will battle it out for the winnners' trophy and prize money.
Dr Nazarov of the Chemistry department said: "We are delighted to be hosting this competition which gets school pupils excited about chemistry. We are looking forward to an entertaining and challenging evening."
