The University of Dundee is taking its recruitment roadshow to Northern Ireland this week visiting a record 14 schools during the day and delivering a virtual reality presentation on Thursday night to provide information and expert advice on courses, opportunities and student life at the University of Dundee.
Colin Chalton and Karen Tait from student recruitment will be accompanied by academics from science and engineering, arts and social sciences, law, architecture, environmental management, town and regional planning and a number of students from Northern Ireland who are currently studying at the University of Dundee and have the lowdown on campus life.
Colin Chalton said: "This will be the fourth year we have taken the University Roadshow to Northern Ireland. We are always assured of a warm welcome there and look forward to visiting the schools and meeting with students, parents and teachers. We have at present over 1200 students from Northern Ireland attending the University. Their academic qualities and rich input to student life are highly valued in Dundee.
The University of Dundee team will be able to answer any queries about the University. Information and advice on work load, courses, applications, accommodation, careers, recreation and night life will be readily available.
The roadshow is to give applicants who have not been able to attend the University during the application process the opportunity to find out all they need to know. Anyone who is interested in the University is welcome to attend.
