The NHS is conducting a consumer survey and is holding its first public meeting in Dundee to invite the views of everyone who uses the NHS.
Professor Roland Jung, Chief Scientist for Scotland and honorary Professor in the University of Dundee's Department of Medicine is arranging a series of meetings across Scotland to explain how people can play a part in the research process to improve healthcare and health of Scottish people.
The first meeting will take place in Dundee in the Queen's Hotel on Tuesday 11 June at 7pm.
Professor Jung said: We are all consumers of the NHS at some time in our lives whether as patients, carers or as members of groups and organisations representing patients or carers. I urge people to come along to this meeting. Consumers have a vital contribution to make and can make a real difference to the research process. I am very keen to hear their views."
