Prince Michael of Albany will present the 2002 Discovery Lecture, hosted by the University of Dundee's Graduates' Council, on Saturday July 12.
The lecture, 'In Search of Scotland', offers Prince Michael's perspective on ancient and modern Scotland.
Prince Michael was born in Brussels, Belgium, in 1958. In 1976, he settled permanently in Scotland and where he promotes the concept of a constitutional independent Scotland.
In 1992, he became President of the European Council of Princes, an advisory body to the EU. He is the author of 'The Forgotten Monarchy of Scotland and also lectures around the country on Scottish history, politics and economics.
The Discovery Lecture follows the annual meeting of the University of Dundee's Graduates' Council. Alumni attending the meeting are also invited to a lunch at the City Chambers, hosted by Lord Provost John Letford.
