A second year post-graduate student from the department of Biochemistry is the second person to desert the University of Dundee.
Nimesh Mody, School of Life Sciences, will be joining Carol Pope, press officer, in an 80 mile trek across the desert in November to raise funds for Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres.
The charity are planning to build a new centre, designed by Frank Gehry, at Ninewells, starting in October. The trek - 80 miles in six days - is only part of the challenge. The real test is to raise a target of £2,500 each by mid September.
Any donations big or small are welcome. To sponsor Nimesh email: nimeshmody@hotmail.com or call 01382 344726.
