The annual and ever popular children's summer programme will present its awards to the children participating in the array of sporting activities that have been on offer over the summer at the Institute of Sport and Exercise at the University of Dundee. Children aged 3 to 15 will be presented with certificates for their efforts in a varied programme of nine courses running for a week each sampling a whole range of sports and activities.
Week long courses provide the chance to try tennis, trampolining, basketball, funfit club, junior sports and many other activities.
Hazel Bell, co-ordinator of the children's programme at the Institute of Sport and Exercise said: "The children's summer programme has endless benefits for children's physical and social development. It is a fun filled new experience in physical activity and sport with a great selection of activities on offer."
There are still spaces on some of the courses which run until Friday 10 August. To register, contact Hazel Bell at the Institute of Sport and Exercise on 01382 345177.
