Summer Sensation - an end of year party for staff and alumni will take place in the tented village outside Sensation Science centre on Friday 12 July.
Already warmed up by the garden parties, the marquees will host bars, live bands on stage and entertainment for all University staff, and groups of alumni. An informal meal will kick start the evening with drinks promotions and champagne competitions before the entertainment begins.
The fairground outside the tented village will be open for all those game to participate. The evening promises to be a fun event for staff and graduates. Academic and departmental staff are encouraged to start thinking about contacting groups of alumni that may be interested in attending Summer Sensation.
Perhaps departments could target year groups, or groups of friends who are in touch with their tutors or departments. Summer Sensation could be a great opportunity for departments to build up their alumni relations. Promotional brochures will be available from the press office at the end of this term.
