The Duke of Edinburgh will open the Post Genomics Centre at the University of Dundee on Tuesday 28 May as part of the Royal Golden Jubilee tour. While the Queen launches Dundee College's new School of Contemporary Dance, Prince Philip will take a brisk tour of new research facility at the Wellcome Trust Biocentre.
Principal Sir Alan Langlands, Director of the Wellcome Trust Biocentre Professor Sir Philip Cohen, and Director of the Post Genomics Centre Professor Mike Ferguson will accompany the Duke and Deputy Lord Lieutenant Charles Farquhar on the tour which will be followed by an official opening ceremony and a formal programme of science lectures.
