Metabolic Mayhem! - Saturday Evening Lecture
The reasons behind the global rise in diabetes - now one of the major health problems facing the developed world - will be explored by Professor Andrew Morris in the Saturday Evening Lecture at the University of Dundee this weekend.
Professor Morris, of the University's Medical School, is Scotland's leading clinician on diabetes. His lecture "Metabolic Mayhem! How should we confront the Diabetes epidemic?" will look at the how the disease has spread and what can be done to address the global diabetes problem.
The lecture takes place in the Tower Extension lecture theatre at the University on Saturday February 18th at 6 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend, entry is free, and there will be a drinks reception following the lecture.
