Lord Provost John Letford will be presented with a cheque for £315 for the Lord Provost's Charity Fund, the money having been raised through donations at last weekend's Scotland Alive event at the Caird Hall.

The event offered Dundee's thousands of international students the chance to find what Scotland can offer them as the best place where they can make their future life.

The money will be presented to the Lord Provost by some of the children and helpers who attended the event.
