A collection of more than 1200 images capturing landscapes from Stirling to Singapore is being exhibited at the University of Dundee.
Vikki Baird's "Map of the World" project takes the viewer on a journey around the world, beginning in her own back garden in Falkirk. The collection covers diverse aspects of every continent and includes cityscapes, mountain ranges, tropical islands and famous landmarks.
Vikki, a fourth year Fine Art student, was inundated with photos and postcards following her public appeal last year.
She said, "I started off asking for photos and postcards from around the world with the aim of gathering together some kind of photographic representation on a world scale. What it turned into was an insight into different experiences and the different tales people had to tell. I was also taken aback at the generosity of those who donated images for my project."
Vikki's show, "Map of the World", runs in the Lower Foyer Gallery, Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design until March 1.
