Snow Covered Scotland
Satellite picture from the University of Dundee
The University of Dundee Satellite Receiving Station has just received a
spectacular image of snow covered Scotland. The image was received from
the moderate resolution imaging spectrometer (MODIS) on the NASA Terra
satellite at 13:40 on Thursday 8th February. It clearly shows the extent
of the recent snowfall with all of Northern Scotland covered.
