Higher Education - Inspiration and Discovery - DULA Event

Higher Education - Inspiration and Discovery will be the subject of a presentation made by Professor James Calderhead this evening, to a gathering of University of Dundee alumni.

In his presentation, Professor Calderhead, Vice Principal of the University, will discuss how the development of the campus could attract a greater number of international students. He will also talk about the importance of interdisciplinary collaborations between the faculties.

Professor Calderhead who is himself a graduate of the University of Dundee will address the graduates who are holding their first event since the launch of the local alumni association earlier this year.

Brian Cairns, Chair of Dundee University Local Alumni will welcome Professor Calderhead to the alumni group.

After the talk the graduates will visit the Union to rekindle old memories. Student President Fraser Miller will take the local graduates on a tour of the building which has just undergone a £4.5 million refurbishment.
