Photo opportunity, 7pm, Thursday December 12, Cooper Gallery, Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, University of Dundee.
The sweet smell of success will waft through Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design this Thursday when the winner of the 2002 Cake Expo is announced.
One budding baker will receive the top prize for their imaginative cake decoration when the entries go before the hungry eyes of judges Alan Shields from Wave 102FM, DCA/VRC Fellow Egill Saebjornsson and Mike Knofel from the charity Dreamcatchers, which will receive the proceeds of a raffle held on the night.
Last year's competition proved extremely popular - the winning entry was a cake fashioned into fish and chips.
This year's competition is open to all. Entries should be delivered to the Cooper Gallery, DJCAD, between 9am and 5pm on Thursday. The cakes, which must be made entirely from edible material, will be displayed for public viewing between 5pm and 8pm, with the winning creation announced at 7pm.
