This cross-disciplinary forum will explore the role of artists, designers and architects in shaping perceptions of our environment, and discusses their interaction with the natural world. How can we challenge urban and consumer perceptions of ‘nature’? And how can our creative communities help to form more sustainable models of society now, and in the future.
Landscape: poetry or politics?
This morning’s speakers try to track the shifting perspectives on
landscape and the environment, discussing the role of artists and thinkers in
framing our perceptions and understanding of what landscape is.
