Over 100 students will celebrate their successful completion of the University of Dundee Access
Summer School. This is the thirteenth year the Access Summer School has run and over eighty of
this year's students have already been offered undergraduate places for 2005 at the University of
Dundee.
Along with 200 guests, the Lord Provost, John Letford will be there to congratulate the students
on their achievement.
Course Director, Dr John Blicharski said, "We are especially pleased with the news that the course
is once again about to be featured as a UK example of best practice in widening participation. To
date we have been able to help 951 students prepare and qualify for undergraduate study. We are
very proud of all their hard work, in fact, it is extremely humbling to hear them say that their
time with us involved some of the best days of their lives."
